Job Description:
- 1) Tends machine that glues together strands of paper twine to form tape used for tying packages: Places bobbins of twine on creel.
- 2) Threads ends of twine through guides, glue rollers, and dryer, and fastens tape to reel.
- 3) Turns drier thermostat knob to regulate temperature.
- 4) Starts machine and monitors operation to ensure uniform gluing and drying.
- 5) May adjust printing device to imprint specified data on tape.
- 6) May adjust guides to regulate width of tape.
