Job Description:
- 1) Collects evidence at scene of crime or fatal accident, classifies and identifies fingerprints, and photographs evidence for use in criminal and civil cases: Dusts selected areas of crime scene to locate and reveal latent fingerprints.
- 2) Lifts prints from crime site, using special tape.
- 3) Photographs crime or accident scene to obtain record of evidence.
- 4) Photographs, records physical description, and fingerprints homicide victims and suspects for identification purposes.
- 5) Classifies and files fingerprints FINGERPRINT CLASSIFIER.
- 6) Develops film and prints, using photographic developing equipment.
- 7) Submits evidence to COMMANDER, IDENTIFICATION AND RECORDS for cataloging.
