Job Description:

• 1) Transcribes music symbols and lyrics from manuscript to sheet music master copy, using pen and ink, ink pad, rules, dies, and straightedge: Draws evenly spaced horizontal lines on master copy, using rule, straightedge, and pen.

• 2) Reads manuscript to determine word and symbol dies needed.

• 3) Presses dies in ink pad and transcribes words and symbols to master copy to prepare copy for reproduction.
