- 1) Measures width of each board of lumber supplied to plant in stacks of standard lengths and thicknesses to determine board footage, using lumber scale.
- 2) Tallies footage of each board and computes total footage of stack, using calculator.
- 3) Records thickness, species, grade, length, and board footage of lumber in each stack.
