Job Description:
- 1) Measures curtains, draperies, and bedspreads to determine if lengths meet specifications and pins or marks hems in them, using layout table: Slides adjustable straightedge of layout table to specified position, using graduated marks of table as guide.
- 2) Clamps edge of material to straightedge and spreads material over table.
- 3) Verifies length of material against scale and removes surplus with shears.
- 4) Folds edges of material and pins them in place to form hems.
