Job Description:

• 1) Installs and pads first covering on upholstered pieces, such as armrests and chair seats not equipped with springs, to prepare piece for final covering.

• 2) Spreads cotton, kapok, or moss padding evenly over part.

• 3) Draws and tacks covering of canvas, burlap, or denim tightly over padding, using upholstery tacks and hammer.
