- 1) Sorts briar-wood blocks used in making pipe stummels, using metal gauge: Removes briar-wood block from bin and compares block with metal gauge to determine size classification of block.
- 2) Tosses block into specified burlap bag, according to shape and dimensions of block.
- 3) Discards scrap briar-wood.
