Job Description:

  • 1) Prepares internal combustion engines for final assembly and testing, performing any of following duties: Pushes or pulls motor aside, using hook, or pushes engine on casters between assembly stations.

  • 2) Pulls masking tape from engine to permit further assembly and adjustment.

  • 3) Removes temporary holding screws to permit attachment of permanent assemblies, using handtools.

  • 4) Lubricates engine, using grease guns, grease fittings, brushes, and oilcans.

  • 5) Wipes oil and dirt from outside surface of engine, using rags.

  • 6) Clamps engine to carrying frame and raises it to overhead conveyor line, using power hoist.
