- 1) Operates double-end trimming machine to saw simultaneously several pieces of lumber to identical lengths: Sets movable saw at specified distance from stationary saw.
- 2) Stacks lumber in machine and butts ends of lumber against guide block.
- 3) Moves lever to clamp lumber in machine.
- 4) Starts saws that cut off ends of lumber.
- 5) Places sawed lumber on conveyor.
