Job Description:
- 1) Tends electronic induction machine, according to set procedures, to harden, braze, or anneal metal objects: Positions and fastens part in fixture of machine.
- 2) Presses button on control panel to start electric current flowing through induction coil for prescribed time.
- 3) May load automatic machine by dumping parts into hopper.
- 4) May test parts for hardness, using preset hardness testing equipment, and stamp heat treatment identification mark on casting, using hammer and punch.
