- 1) Removes excess metal from inside rim of balance wheel, using radius file: Positions wheel in slot of work jig filing plate.
- 2) Files excess metal between arm and inside rim of wheel to obtain specified balance of wheel, using file and loupe.
- 3) Inspects wheels to ensure conformance to specifications.
- 4) Shapes files on emery wheel.
