- 1) Prepares such dishes as meat loaves and salads, utilizing leftover meats, seafoods, and poultry: Consults with supervisory staff to determine dishes that will use greatest amount of leftovers.
- 2) Prepares appetizers, relishes, and hors d'oeuvres.
- 3) Chops, dices, and grinds meats and vegetables.
- 4) Slices cold meats and cheese.
- 5) Arranges and garnishes cold meat dishes.
- 6) Prepares cold meat sandwiches.
- 7) Mixes and prepares cold sauces, meat glazes, jellies, salad dressings, and stuffings.
- 8) May supervise pantry workers.
- 9) May follow recipes to prepare foods.
