Job Description:

• 1) Fastens choker cables around logs for yarding from cutting area to landing: Pulls choker cables from tractor winch or main-line of yarding machine, passes ball under and around log, and secures end to bell to form noose.

• 2) May clear brush and earth from under log, using ax and shovel.

• 3) May assist RIGGING SLINGER in installing and dismantling rigging of high lead or similar yarding system.
