Job Description:
- 1) Decorates cakes and pastries with designs, using icing bag or handmade paper cone: Trims uneven surfaces of cake or cuts and shapes cake to required size, using knife.
- 2) Spreads icing between layers and on surfaces of cake, using spatula.
- 3) Tints white icing with food coloring.
- 4) Inserts die of specific design into tip of bag or paper cone and fills bag or cone with colored icing.
- 5) Squeezes bag to eject icing while moving bag with free-arm writing motions to form design on cake.
- 6) Forms decorations on flower nail and transfers decorations to cake, using spatula.
- 7) May mix icing.
