Job Description:
- 1) Measures slide fastener chains and cuts excess scoops from chains to shorten chains to specified length: Measures chain against bench mounted ruler to determine number of scoops to remove.
- 2) Cuts each scoop from tape, using pincers.
- 3) Rubs scoops against edge of bench to remove them from tape.
- 4) Cuts tape between chains to form individual zipper, using scissors.
- 5) Examines zippers for broken or missing scoops and discards defective zippers.
- 6) May count and record number of zippers produced.
