Job Description:
- 1) Repairs and adjusts taxicab meters: Disassembles meters to determine cause of incorrect or nonregistering of time, mileage, or fare readings.
- 2) Cleans meters, and repairs or replaces broken or worn parts.
- 3) Adjusts registering mechanism gears, using handtools.
- 4) Reassembles meters and makes final adjustments to registering mechanism control gear to meet test specifications.
