Job Description:
- 1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in preparing casket linings, and pillows: Measures and cuts cloth according to size, color, and style of lining, using hand shears.
- 2) Inspects seams, shirring, embroidering, and crushing for conformance to company standards.
- 3) Demonstrates sewing and crushing techniques to train new employees.
- 4) May operate shirring machine to gather material.
- 5) Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
