• 1) Tends lasting machine that presses edges of precemented uppers onto insole and shapes shank section of shoes: Positions last between machine feed rollers that grip upper edges.

• 2) Moves last along wiping bar that presses upper edges onto insole.

• 3) May last entire upper.
