Job Description:
- 1) Displays and sells floor coverings, such as carpets, rugs, and linoleum, in department store, specialty store, or showroom: Shows rugs or samples of carpets to customer.
- 2) Explains qualities of various rugs and carpets, such as composition, method of fabrication, and wearing qualities.
- 3) Estimates cost and amount of covering required, referring to customer's floor plans.
- 4) Performs other duties as described under SALESPERSON Master Title.
- 5) May measure floor and sell floor coverings in customer's home or place of business and be designated Floor-Coverings Estimator; Salesperson, Terrazzo Tiles.
