- 1) Renders personal services to railroad passengers to make their trip pleasant and comfortable: Straightens seat cushions and window shades to prepare cars for passengers.
- 2) Greets passengers boarding trains and introduces passengers to each other.
- 3) Answers questions about train schedules, travel routes, and railway services.
- 4) Assists in feeding and caring for children during transit.
- 5) Assists ill passengers.
