Job Description:
- 1) Assists MACHINIST, OUTSIDE in installing ship machinery, such as motors, pumps, ventilating equipment and steering gear: Drills holes in foundations in specified places for anchoring machinery, using portable, powered drills.
- 2) Assists in moving and leveling machinery, using portable jacks, as directed.
- 3) Bolts equipment to deck and attaches fuel, cooling, or lubricating lines as directed, using handtools.
- 4) Performs other duties as described under HELPER Master Title.
