Job Description:
- 1) Tends lathe that polishes internal surfaces of holes in jewel bearings: Inserts jewel bearing into chuck of lathe.
- 2) Starts lathe and polishes surfaces by inserting splint coated with ground diamond dust into hole of bearing.
- 3) Cleans hole with splint dipped in benzene.
- 4) Inspects hole under magnifying glass to ensure that polished surfaces conform to standard.
