- 1) Tends machine that removes heads, fins, viscera, and tails from fish preparatory to canning: Starts machine and conveyor system.
- 2) Positions fish on feed table and aligns head with cutting knife.
- 3) Places beheaded fish in machine feed trough and pushes tail into teeth of fish cleaning machine.
- 4) Pulls lever to regulate speed of conveyors.
- 5) May replace worn knives, using handtools.
