Job Description:
- 1) Operates multiple-needle, chainstitch sewing machine to join edges of garments or garment parts with felled seam: Guides edge of garment through folding attachment or folds edge according to style specifications to form seam.
- 2) Presses knee control to lower machine arm.
- 3) Positions folded garment edge under needle and releases knee control to raise machine arm.
- 4) Guides garment edge under needle and against gauge.
- 5) Performs duties as described under SEWING-MACHINE OPERATOR, REGULAR EQUIPMENT Master Title.
