Job Description:
- 1) Operates special camera to make animated cartoon motion picture films: Places background drawing on horizontal easel over which camera is suspended.
- 2) Positions transparent celluloid slide on which animation has been drawn over background and covers it with glass plate.
- 3) Exposes frame of motion picture film and repeats process, using next drawing in animation sequence.
- 4) Regulates exposure and aperture to obtain special effects, such as fade out or fade-ins.
