Job Description:

• 1) Measures slide fastener chains and cuts excess scoops from chains to shorten chains to specified length: Measures chain against bench mounted ruler to determine number of scoops to remove.

• 2) Cuts each scoop from tape, using pincers.

• 3) Rubs scoops against edge of bench to remove them from tape.

• 4) Cuts tape between chains to form individual zipper, using scissors.

• 5) Examines zippers for broken or missing scoops and discards defective zippers.

• 6) May count and record number of zippers produced.
