Job Description:

• 1) Tests x-ray machines and accessory equipment to locate defects, using voltmeter and laboratory testing instruments: Compares readings on x-ray control meter and timer with measurements taken with standard instruments during machine operation to verify or adjust meter and timer calibration.

• 2) Tests performance of transformer and measures voltages, using voltmeter, and compares results with standard graphs.

• 3) May plan layouts of x-ray departments and install equipment.
