Job Description:

• 1) Tends wood-web weaving machine that binds together wood slats to form indoor or porch shades: Spreads bundle of wood slats on machine bed.

• 2) Starts machine and feeds slats into machine jaw which grips and pulls slats over and under warp threads.

• 3) Stops machine to tie broken warp ends.

• 4) Positions shade on stapling machine carriage and depresses pedal to staple molding and splints on top and bottom of shade.

• 5) May tend machine that binds together plastic slats with decorative yarn to form window blinds and be designated Woven-Blind-Loom Tender.
