Job Description:

• 1) Launches and moors boats on lake or similar amusement place and shows patrons how to guide crafts, such as rowboats, canoes, and electric or gasoline motorboats: Assists patrons stepping in or out of boats.

• 2) Takes tickets from patrons.

• 3) Demonstrates how to row, paddle, or guide boats.

• 4) Tows disabled boats to dock for repair.

• 5) Changes batteries of electric motorboats and refuels gasoline motors.

• 6) Cleans, paints, varnishes, and makes minor repairs on motors, using handtools, to maintain boats in good condition.

• 7) When working in boat-tank facility of amusement park, is designated Boat-Tank Attendant.
