Job Description:

• 1) Tends semiautomatic wax-molding machine that produces wax patterns used in lost-wax casting process: Sprays interior surface of die with parting agent.

• 2) Places die against stops in bed of machine and starts machine that forces melted wax into die by injection or centrifugal process.

• 3) Loosens pattern from die, using airhose.

• 4) Removes pattern from die and inspects it for defects.

• 5) Cleans excess wax from pattern, using knife.

• 6) May pour melted wax into holding cup of machine.

• 7) May be designated according to molding process used as Centrifugal-Wax Molder; Injection-Wax Molder.
