Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that reproduces embroidery designs on fabric: Stretches lengths of fabric on machine or clamps frames of fabric onto machine.

• 2) Replaces broken needles and threads, threads needles, and locks needles in holders.

• 3) Aligns pantograph mechanism, starts machine, and observes operation.

• 4) Marks stitching errors with pins or tape.

• 5) May pin applique on fabric to obtain variation in design.

• 6) May fill and replace shuttles.
