Job Description:

• 1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in watch manufacture or assembly, such as hairspring manufacture, balance assembly, or dial manufacture, applying knowledge of watch manufacturing: Computes labor and machine requirements based on work schedules, and assigns work accordingly.

• 2) Sets up machines and instructs personnel in machine operation.

• 3) Compares product with blueprint or other specifications, and makes or directs changes in setup to keep product within specified tolerances.

• 4) Performs duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.

• 5) May supervise workers who are responsible for particular operation or phase of watch assembly or parts manufacture.

• 6) May be designated according to operations supervised as Watch Balance Assembly Manufacturing Supervisor; Watch Hairspring Manufacturing Supervisor; Watch Metal Dial Manufacturing Supervisor.
