Job Description:

• 1) Tends beet washing equipment and elevators that clean sugar beets preparatory to slicing: Starts elevators and washing equipment, and turns valves to regulate water flow through washing vat.

• 2) Signals FLUMER I to adjust flow of beets in flume, using telephone.

• 3) Turns valves to drain water from washing vat.

• 4) Cleans debris from vat, using water hose.
