Job Description:

• 1) Tends machines that wash and dry manufactured articles or their components, such as rubber gloves, pen and mechanical pencil barrels and lens blanks: Dumps detergent into machine.

• 2) Places objects or racks of objects in washing machine.

• 3) Sets controls to regulate length of cycle and water temperature as specified.

• 4) Starts washing machine.

• 5) Removes objects and places them in drying machine.

• 6) Starts drying machine.

• 7) Removes objects from machine when dry.

• 8) May tend machine that rinses articles.
