Job Description:

• 1) Washes articles, such as curtains, table linens, and lingerie by hand: Soaps and rubs articles, and rinses them in chemical solutions and clear water.

• 2) Extracts excess moisture with hand wringer or tends small extractor.

• 3) Hangs articles on racks to dry.

• 4) May immerse articles in tint or dye solutions to restore color.

• 5) May operate small machines to wash articles.

• 6) May wash and card blankets.
