Job Description:

• 1) Renovates used cars for resale at used car lot: Inspects cars for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.

• 2) Hammers out dents.

• 3) Polishes scratches and retouches with enamel.

• 4) Sews rips and tears in upholstery.

• 5) Cleans and vacuums interiors.

• 6) Washes and polishes exteriors.

• 7) Replaces missing or defective small parts.

• 8) Performs minor mechanical repairs and adjustments.

• 9) May inspect cars for compliance with state safety regulations.
