Job Description:

• 1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating turbine-driven generators in steam-electric generating plant: Reviews work orders from STATIONARY-ENGINEER SUPERVISOR or SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR to determine specified power necessary for allocating load capacity to turbines.

• 2) Notifies TURBINE OPERATOR to increase or decrease power loads to turbines and to transfer loads when equipment malfunctions.

• 3) Evaluates reports from TURBINE ATTENDANT and observes recording instrument readings to determine operating status of equipment.
