Job Description:

• 1) Calculates tonnage of specified components of ship's cargo to compile report for use in assessing tariffs: Calculates tonnage of each commodity from ship's manifest.

• 2) Converts cubic feet of cargo volume into tonnage assessable.

• 3) Converts metric volume of cargo into pounds and cubic feet, using formulas and calculating machine.

• 4) Compiles tonnage list for each commodity in ship's cargo and submits lists to accounting department.
