Job Description:

• 1) Sets up and operates machine to regroove tread surface of pneumatic tires without removing tire from vehicle: Raises front or rear of vehicle, using hydraulic jack.

• 2) Positions regrooving machine beneath tire and secures in place.

• 3) Measures depth of usable tread rubber, using awl.

• 4) Sets cutting blades of machine to maximum depth consistent with safety.

• 5) Guides blade to cut desired pattern in tread surface as machine automatically revolves tire.

• 6) May groove tires by hand.
