Job Description:

• 1) Collects samples of materials, such as scrap iron and ore, and products, such as metal sheets, rails, tubes, and bars, and prepares samples for physical analysis, using grinders, crushers, drill press, power saws and milling machine.

• 2) Identifies samples and routes samples to laboratory for analysis.

• 3) Records test data and type and amount of samples tested.
