Job Description:

• 1) Collects and assists in evaluation of data obtained in testing petroleum fuels and lubricants under simulated operating conditions: Inspects engines after test runs have been made by TEST-ENGINE OPERATOR, for wear, deposits, and defective parts, using microscope and precision weighing and measuring devices to obtain accurate data.

• 2) Records findings and assists in analyzing data.

• 3) Assists in dismantling and reassembling engines during test runs.

• 4) May obtain and analyze samples of engine-exhaust gas.
