Job Description:

• 1) Repairs and adjusts taxicab meters: Disassembles meters to determine cause of incorrect or nonregistering of time, mileage, or fare readings.

• 2) Cleans meters, and repairs or replaces broken or worn parts.

• 3) Adjusts registering mechanism gears, using handtools.

• 4) Reassembles meters and makes final adjustments to registering mechanism control gear to meet test specifications.
