Job Description:

• 1) Sets up and operates one or more automatic tapping machines to cut internal threads in nut blanks: Installs specified tap in spindle, using wrench and rule.

• 2) Fills feed hopper with nut blanks and starts machine.

• 3) Measures threaded nuts with gauge and changes worn taps to maintain specified tolerances.

• 4) May set up machines for other workers to operate.
