Job Description:

• 1) Tends machine that glues together strands of paper twine to form tape used for tying packages: Places bobbins of twine on creel.

• 2) Threads ends of twine through guides, glue rollers, and dryer, and fastens tape to reel.

• 3) Turns drier thermostat knob to regulate temperature.

• 4) Starts machine and monitors operation to ensure uniform gluing and drying.

• 5) May adjust printing device to imprint specified data on tape.

• 6) May adjust guides to regulate width of tape.
