Job Description:

• 1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in processing slaughtering-and-meat-packing byproducts, such as tallow, hides, and cracklings: Trains new employees in operation of equipment.

• 2) Observes meters and dials to verify specified pressures and temperatures at various process stages.

• 3) Moves controls to regulate equipment and correct equipment malfunctions.

• 4) May supervise trimming and packing of offal products, such as tongues, livers, and tails.

• 5) May assist in purchase of hides and sales of offal products.

• 6) Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
