Job Description:

• 1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in taking and transcribing dictation of correspondence and reports: Assigns stenographers to executives and department heads to take dictation and transcribe correspondence and memos.

• 2) Assigns manuscript or recorded messages to workers for transcription.

• 3) Verifies typed copy for neatness, spelling, and punctuation.

• 4) Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
