Job Description:

• 1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in sanding wood furniture stock, applying knowledge and experience with specific sanding processes, equipment, and kinds of wood: Computes amount of sanding supplies required, based on production schedules, and requisitions materials.

• 2) Inspects sanded material for smoothness and to verify conformance to company standards.

• 3) Trains new workers and assigns workers to work stations.

• 4) Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
