Job Description:

• 1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in inspecting wrappers, rolling bunches, and wrapping bunches with wrapper leaves to produce handmade cigars.

• 2) Confers with other department supervisors to coordinate flow of filler, binder, and wrapper tobacco into department.

• 3) Reads production schedule to determine style, length, diameter, and color wrapper required for daily cigar production.

• 4) Measures length, diameter, and weight of cigars, using gauge and scales, and examines wrapper leaves and bundles to ensure company standards are met.

• 5) Trains new workers and maintains production records.

• 6) Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
