Job Description:

• 1) Patrols route to clean and replace street light globes and illuminators: Turns crank to lower street lights suspended from utility poles or stands in hydraulically operated tower-truck bucket to reach lamps installed on top of street light posts.

• 2) Removes and cleans globe or diffuse.

• 3) Replaces defective illuminating elements, such as incandescent bulbs, fluorescent tubes, or carbon electrodes.

• 4) Performs repairs, such as replacing corroded reflectors and connecting loose wires.

• 5) Reports defects for repair by STREET-LIGHT SERVICER.

• 6) May drive truck.
