Job Description:

• 1) Builds doorways and brattices of materials, such as canvas, wood, concrete, brick, or concrete block as specified to construct partition to control circulation of air through passageways and working areas.

• 2) Erects partitions to support roof in areas unsuited to timbering or bolting.

• 3) May install rigid and flexible air ducts to transport air into work areas.

• 4) May drill and blast obstructing bolders to reopen ventilation shafts.
